Mr. Steve Lacock
Mr. Steve Lacock is a senior engineer for Arkema Inc. Lacock is responsible for technical service, applications development, and new product development for Solarkote® and Plexiglas® resins in the coextrusion sheet and building and construction markets.
Lacock has worked for Arkema, Inc. (formally Atofina Chemicals) since 2001. Lacock’s accomplishments have included being a key member of the team assigned to develop Altuglas’s PMMA optical film product line. Later he helped with the development of special effect pre-color Solarkote® resins for the coextrusion market. Most recently he has been one of the team leaders in the development of PMMA capstocks for new substrates such as TPO.
Lacock holds his BS from Pennsylvania College of Technology in Plastics and Polymers Engineering Technology. He is a member of the Society of Plastic Engineers. He also is the author or coauthor of multiple patent applications.
