Mr. Brad Johnson
Mr. Brad Johnson has been teaching in Penn State Erie's plastics engineering technology program since 1994. Prior to joining Penn State, he accumulated 11 years of industrial experience, most of which was spent as program manager, design engineer, project/processing engineer, and production supervisor at Osram Sylvania. His primary expertise is in injection molding and process optimization. Along with developing some of the processing classes, he has also taught plastic materials and quality control classes while at Penn State. Johnson holds bachelor's and master's degrees in chemical engineering from Virginia Tech. He was recently named the Society of Plastics Engineers 2010 Engineer of the Year for the Injection Molding Division.
