Services

Plastics SourceNet offers a wide variety of partnership services to individuals and manufacturers. The goals are to optimize your manufacturing processes, decrease time to market, reduce costs, increase productivity, enhance product development and innovation, provide training to upgrade workforce skills and efficiencies, and recruit qualified personnel.

For manufacturing issues/concerns, the Plastics SourceNet Coordinator will travel to the plant location to analyze process needs and necessary services. In addition, Plastics SourceNet also provides a maximum of two preliminary days of free consulting services.

Cost for services beyond the initial evaluation is based upon needs and is presented in a proposal developed by Plastics SourceNet and those partnering to help any particular project.

Through the the technology partnership between the Plastics Manufacturing Center (PMC) at the Pennsylvania College of Technology and the Plastics Technology Center (PTC), at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, Plastics SourceNet can provide one or more of the following services:

 

MANUFACTURING FEASIBILITY STUDY

This study will determine how possible an idea is to implement and what will be the bottom line of production costs, return on investment, and market demand.

TOOLING (MOLDS AND DIES)
